Eclipsed sun in uptown Clinton

This YouTube video was posted by Manu Arregi Biziola about the total eclipse of the sun that occurred in uptown Clinton on Aug. 21. The City played host to hundreds of visitors who came to our corner of South Carolina, since the total eclipse spanned the entire west to east course of the state. The Oregon to South Carolina route - the last time the eclipse was seen in the continental US was north of Charleston - was the first time in 99 years that a total eclipse was visible only in the United States. The next US solar eclipse will happen in 2024 - the next time a total solar eclipse passes through South Carolina will be 2052.
