Whitten Center parade Saturday at 1 p.m.
Whitten Center will hold its annual Christmas Parade on Saturday, Dec. 3 at 1 p.m. (following the City of Clinton Christmas Parade). “While some of the Whitten Center residents do get to travel to and from other parades, there are many that do not get to travel off-site for parade events. Our residents love having visitors…especially Santa,” said Tara Glenn, Director of Volunteer Services and Staff Development. “The parade of floats and people that come through every year bring so much joy and celebration to our folks. Their smiles say it all!” The parade moves through the campus, passing each residential unit; allowing all residents the opportunity to get a glance at the man in red, as well as all other guests participating. If you are interested in participating in the 2016 Whitten Center Christmas Parade, contact Shelby Benson at email@example.com or 864-938-3310. Dirt bikes and four wheelers are asked not to participate.
