Frady is a top volunteer

Barbara Frady Is Named 2016 Hospital Volunteer of the Year
Barbara Frady of Clinton was named 2016 Volunteer of the Year for GHS Laurens County Memorial Hospital at the annual Greenville Health System Volunteer Banquet last month.
“A faithful volunteer for the past 26 years, Barbara has served the Auxiliary in so many capacities,” Rich D’Alberto, LCMH president said. “From serving as president of the Auxiliary, to youth coordinator, to knitting hats of newborns, Barbara has always been there for us.”
Frady served on the first Auxiliary Board of the new Laurens County Health Care System in 1989 and was instrumental in transitioning two former organizations into one. Since that time Barbara has accumulated a total of 10,195 volunteer hours.
She also held the office of Auxiliary President for two terms and served as Youth Volunteer Coordinator for seven years.
“Barbara he has always served her community, her church and the hospital and set a wonderful example for our volunteers by her dedicated spirit”, D’Alberto added.
In addition to her leadership roles, Frady has worked in various locations in the hospital including the gift shop, the front information desk, emergency waiting area and in registration.
She has supported the Auxiliary by helping with projects such as knitting hats for newborns, Bake Sales for the United Way, March of Dimes, Relay for Life and many other events hosted at the hospital over the years.
