Cocaine, Ecstasy and a handgun
Three people have been jailed on drugs and gun charges in a case worked by a confidential informant.
Authorities identified the suspects as Thomas Keith Stevenson, 53, of 503 Academy St., Clinton; Tony Curtis Jones, 27, of the same address; and Nekeisha Roshelle Boyd, 20, of 1657 Woodyard Rd., Kinards.
In connection with two incidents, Stevenson is charged with trafficking cocaine, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of Ecstasy, possession of Ecstasy with intent to distribute, possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime, possession of a stolen handgun, distribution of marijuana 3rd offense, and distribution within proximity of a school or park.
The drugs and gun charges related to Stevenson occurred from incidents April 16 and April 27 at 503 Academy St., a report said.
Stevenson alleged possessed 10-28 grams of cocaine, more than 28 grams of marijuana, 15 or more Ecstasy tablets, and a Taurus 40-caliber handgun (possessed during the commission of the violent crime of trafficking cocaine) that was reported stolen out of Columbia.
Stevenson allegedly sold marijuana on April 16 to a confidential informant working for authorities in an undercover capacity. His bond for these charges totals $120,000.
Jones was arrested on the cocaine, Ecstasy and gun charges. His bond is $40,000,
Boyd was held on an $8,000 bond for cocaine, Ecstasy and gun charges. Clinton Public Safety made the arrests last Wednesday, a report said.
